Student Visa

A Student Visa (formerly Tier 4) lets you study a full-time course at a licensed UK education provider. Guide Bridge makes sure your CAS, finances and supporting documents are exactly what the Home Office expects — no gaps, no surprises.

Eligibility at a glance

You need a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a licensed student sponsor, evidence that you can cover your course fees and living costs for the required period, an ATAS certificate if your course is in a restricted subject, proof of English at the level required by your provider, and a valid tuberculosis test certificate if applying from a listed country.

Financial evidence we prepare

The Home Office requires you to show funds covering outstanding course fees plus nine months of living costs (currently £1,023 per month in London, £820 outside London). We help you structure bank statements, fixed deposits or official financial sponsorship letters so they meet the 28-day rule and formatting requirements.

How Guide Bridge helps

We audit your CAS for errors before submission, calculate the exact financial amount you need to show, prepare your document pack in Home Office order, coach you for any credibility interview, submit and track the application on your behalf, and advise on dependant applications if you are bringing family.

Timeline

Applications open up to 6 months before your course starts. Standard processing takes 3 to 6 weeks from outside the UK, or 8 weeks if switching inside the UK. Priority services are available in some countries. We recommend applying as early as possible.
